Sargodha is one of the beautiful cities of Punjab Province. It is located between river Jhelum and Chenab. Its distance from Lahore is 206 kilometer, while Islamabad is 244 kilometer away.

Sargodha is also very famous for its glowing and lush green orange orchards. It is the largest Kinno’ producing district of the world and is called “California of Pakistan”. The quality of Kinno produced here, is famous all around the world and it is playing an important part in making economy of Pakistan better and stronger.

Sargodha has the responsibility of defending air of Pakistan and this city has always had greater strategic importance for Pakistan Air Force which has its largest base ¡n this city. This base is surrounded by famous Karana Hills which protects ¡t from attack of enemy jets. That was the reason that during wars in 1965 and 1971, Sargodha was the prime target of Indian air force and they attacked Sargodha reieatedty. The famous war hero MM Alam made graveyard of Indian jets here ¡n seconds and people of Sargodha were bravely standing during the attack. The people of Sargodha were awarded Hilal ‘e’ Istaqlal for this courageousness.
